The Armenian Economic Association 14th Annual Meetings was held on July 3- 6, 2024. The Meetings hosts were the American University of Armenia in Yerevan and the Central Bank of Armenia in Dilijan.
Papers in various areas of economics and finance of both theoretical and empirical nature were presented. Special focus was on labor economics in addition to the usual research addressing issues of growth and development in Armenia and the wider region.

In 2024 the following awards prizes have been awarded:
Armen Alchian Award for general interest papers went to Victoria Vanasco (CREi) for her work “Banks vs Firms: Who Benefits from Credit Guarantees?”
Grigor Artzruni Award (young scholar paper) went to Vladimir Avetian (Paris-Dauphine) for his work “Ink and Ire: The Revolutionary Impact of Russian Literature.”
International Monetary Fund Award was given to Fabien Petit (UCL) for his work “The Employment Impact of Emerging Digital Technologies.”
In 2024 the Central Bank of Armenia gave its inaugural Award in Memory of Ashot Mkrtchyan to Marta Cota (CERGE-EI) for her work “Financial Skills and Search in the Mortgage Market.”
